Two months after the "TV or Not TV, That Is the Question" posting, a few of us have said "no" to the tube.
Here's a list:
Ben and Wendy
Heidi and Kamron
McKenzie and Cal
Am I missing anyone?
To those who have turned it off, how do you feel about it so far? How long do you plan to keep it off? Have you noticed a difference in the feeling of your home?
Just curious!

I'm still trying to decide if I like it. It's only been about 1 month since we've been without TV, but I've probably rented more movies in the month than in my entire life put together. I have no idea what is happening in the world (I didn't know the tragic news about Rosie leaving THE VIEW until a week after it happened...I'm still in mourning). But overall, I think it has been a good decision. The only times I hate it are days like today when it is June 7th and there is snow coming down, so we're stuck inside and it gets boring. If anyone wants to know if a movie is good, just ask me, because I've probably seen it!!! We'll resume TV this fall.
I've noticed a complete difference. The kids play more. Overall, I feel like we're all more productive. All of the sudden we seem to have more time. We've been listening to music more. I miss certain shows, but not enough to change back. Our home just seems more peaceful.
Well, I have to say that my whole theory of us SAVING money on cable and spending more time doing more productive things is not exactly working. We are currently Hollywood video's best customer.
I also feel a little out of touch. Someone please call me if there is a terrorist attack!
McKenzie,
What should I rent next?
